The Royal Ballet principal, Francesca Hayward, is best known for her breathtaking grace, symphonic movements, and natural poise. Director and filmmaker Jess Kohl, however, brings out Hayward’s darker side in this black-and-white dance film with a haunting narrative edge.

The choreography was crafted by Michael Montgomery, a graduate of the Alvin Ailey School in the Certificate program and the Alonzo King LINES Ballet BFA Program at Dominican University of California.
